Yaroslavl brick manufacturers have decided not to overprice their products

Brick manufacturers in the Yaroslavl region have signed a declaration on responsible pricing, committing not to overprice their products, said Viktor Nezhenets, deputy chairman of the regional government.

"The leaders of Norsky Ceramic Plant and EKO have signed a declaration of responsible pricing. This work is necessary for stabilization of the price situation on the consumer market of inert materials and implementation of important projects in the sphere of housing and social construction," he said.

Within the framework of the agreement brick producers undertake to price their products based on the interaction of supply and demand within the current legislation as well as to prevent violations of the antimonopoly law and cartel collusion.

It is noted that for the contractors working under state and municipal contracts, as well as for those who perform work in the framework of national projects, the agreement provides for the receipt of production of enterprises on a priority basis.

It is known that the declaration will be valid until the end of 2022.
