According to the results of 11 months of 2022, Wildberries' own investments in providing discounts for customers amounted to 203 billion rubles, which is 25% more than in the same period last year. This is reported by the company's press service.
The largest volume of the company's investments came during the November sales, when Russians bought not only everyday goods, but also actively prepared for the new year – bought gifts for relatives and friends. In November, the volume of Wildberries investments reached 32.5 billion rubles (+49% year–on-year) - this is the highest figure in the entire history of the company.
"Throughout the year, we continued to increase our own investments in providing discounts on goods for Russians. Thanks to this, entrepreneurs selling their products on Wildberries increased their own income in the online segment. In addition, the offer of goods at attractive prices is expanding, which allows the company to contribute to the stabilization of prices in the market," the Wildberries press service commented.
