The terms of construction of fishing vessels in Russia under investment loans have been extended

The terms of construction of fishing vessels under the first stage of the investment quota program have been extended for two years, the current construction will be completed by 2027. This was told by the Deputy head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Viktor Yevtukhov. His words are quoted by the press service of the Ministry.

"Currently, the construction of fishing vessels is carried out in accordance with the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation <...>. At the same time, due to the current situation, the deadlines for the implementation of fishing vessel projects have been extended for two years," he said.

According to him, the current construction under the investment quota program should be completed by 2027.

Among the main reasons that led to an increase in the construction time of ships, Yevtukhov noted the need to adapt projects based on cooperation with foreign companies.
