Moscow entrepreneurs will be able to enter the Chinese market and launch sales through the popular in China online platform WeChat, said the vice-mayor of the capital, Natalia Sergunina.
"There will be a "Made in Moscow" store on this platform. The Moscow Export Center will finance the placement of special cards of the capital's brands there for a period of not less than 10 months. At the same time entrepreneurs will be explained how to certify their products, register a trademark, conduct an advertising campaign and organize delivery, "- she said.
Individual entrepreneurs and companies registered at least six months ago, with no debts and not under reorganization, liquidation or bankruptcy will be able to take part in the program. Applications can be submitted on the website of the Moscow Export Center (MEDC).
WeChat is a digital platform that combines functions of a social network, a messenger, a marketplace and a payment system. The number of its active users exceeds 1.2 billion people.
