Kaspersky Lab solutions appeared in the film "The Fall of the Moon" by American director Roland Emmerich, the Russian IT company reported.
In a new fantastic picture, the planet is threatened by a collision with the Moon due to the fact that the Earth's natural satellite has gone out of orbit. To save humanity, the three heroes of the film go on a mission on a spacecraft protected by Kaspersky Lab solutions, the press service said.
"We thank Kaspersky Lab and other partners for helping us create this film. We are looking forward to the premiere and share the joy and anticipation with everyone involved in it," the domestic company quotes the words of Emmerich and the film's producer Harald Kloser.
The Russian IT giant regularly supports initiatives related to science and space exploration. For example, the company conducted training of cosmonauts in the field of information security in cooperation with the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Research and Testing Center. In addition, Kaspersky Lab interacts with the international popular science festival Starmus, which brings together scientists, astronauts, writers, artists, musicians and entrepreneurs. The company also supports the startup project StartRocket to clean up near-Earth orbit from debris.
