The Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University and the social network TikTok have launched the #LikeNoVerify campaign dedicated to media literacy. The platform's press service said.
"The leading platform for creating and watching short videos TikTok together with experts from the Faculty of Journalism at Lomonosov Moscow State University are launching the #LikayNoVerify campaign. Its aim is to tell the users of the platform about the basics of media literacy: why to critically evaluate information on the Internet, how to check its sources and how not to copy questionable content," - the statement says.
The authors of the project recorded a series of educational videos on the reliability of information, the problem of copying content, how not to become a victim of prejudice and learn to perceive information objectively, the difference between facts and opinions.
In addition, experts from the Journalism Department of Moscow State University will hold a series of broadcasts, in which they will speak about the importance of responsible consumption and content creation in the online space.
