Moscow producers have increased food supplies by 5% this year

Food producers from Moscow increased deliveries to customers by 4.9% from January to September. Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of the capital for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations, told reporters about this.

"Moscow food industry enterprises produce various food products - from bakery to fish and meat products. In the first nine months of this year, the capital's companies delivered goods to customers for more than 405 billion rubles — this is 4.9% higher than in the same period of 2021. This growth was achieved, among other things, due to an increase in the shipment of dairy products, which increased by 19% and amounted to 44 billion rubles. The volume of beverage supplies reached 53 billion rubles, which is 11.5% more than the result for January - September last year," the deputy mayor said.

He also noted that the total volume of food production in Moscow also increased by 1.6%. There are over 200 food industry enterprises operating in the city. More than a quarter of them are manufacturers of bakery products.
