Translation Management Technologies is a leading provider of linguistic services in Russia and the CIS countries

AWATERA, also known as Translation Management Technologies, was the largest translation company in Russia for 2018. However, its founders do not plan to stop there, constantly expanding their field of activity. Today you can find the offices of Translation Management Technologies in Kiev and even in the USA. The company itself emerged from the merger of two giants of the linguistic market in Russia. The impressive list of their clients, which includes such companies as search giant Yandex, TV company NTV, German conglomerate Siemens, well-known Gazprom and others, also speaks about the success of the company.

The company has had a rich history since its inception. In the beginning there was an online service for translation of texts of any volume, then ABBV company became a shareholder. At the end of zero Translation Management Technologies entered the Ukrainian market, opening an office in Kiev. A year later, the translation service was launched by phone. A year later the company received the status of Skolkovo resident and in the same year entered the American market. In 2013, the freelancer exchange was opened for those who are engaged in translation. Then there were experiments with cloud solutions to automate translations and use machine translation. As a result, today we have a company with a turnover of over one billion rubles. The staff of Translation Management Technologies includes exclusively the best specialists from all over the world.

The working chain is as follows: the company receives the project, the translator does his job, and then the work is sent to the editor. After the editorial stage, the work reaches the proofreader, and from there it goes to the quality control department. Translating to AWATERA is a long and multi-step process. The company offers its clients a whole range of services: product localization, translation automation and even web design services. At one time the company had the first service in Russia, when an interpreter could be connected to a telephone conversation to get a call translated into one of several languages. And in 2014, it also created a cloud-based solution for translation of Coursera.
