More than 1.1 thousand phantom enterprises identified by Rosselkhoznadzor

In the first 4 months of 2022 Rosselkhoznadzor revealed more than 1.1 thousand phantom enterprises in Russia, the department reports.

The monitoring was conducted with the help of electronic veterinary certification system "Mercury". It is noted that 196 non-existent production organizations and 915 companies engaged in trade and storage of products, as well as the sale of farm animals were detected.

"Mercury" is an automated system for electronic certification of goods subject to state veterinary control in the territory of the Russian Federation. FGIS "Mercury" makes it possible to create a single information platform for veterinary agencies, producers and sellers of controlled products.
