Three new dairy farms to be built in Samara region

Peasant farms in the Samara region are planning to build three new dairy farms this year, the editorial office of "Made in Russia" was told by the press service of the regional agency for investment attraction.

"Implementation of the projects involves attracting funds from the regional budget in the form of grants in the amount of 20%. They plan to allocate 22.5 million rubles from the regional budget for this purpose", - they said in the agency, noting that the governor of the region has already ordered it.

New dairy commercial farms (for 100, 180 and 200 cows) will be built in Krasnoyarsk, Bolsheglushitsky and Elkhovsky districts of the region, which will create new jobs. For the new farms 380 cows of highly productive breeds will be bought. Private investors intend to invest more than 57 million rubles in the purchase of cows.

The press service noted that in recent years, the region has increased the productivity of the dairy herd - from 5.9 thousand in 2019 to 6.8 thousand kilograms in 2021.
