"Russian Post will speed up the delivery of goods from China

Russian Post, together with EMS China (China Post), has launched regular direct flights on its own mainline cargo planes from Zhengzhou to Vnukovo airport, the company's press service said.

The weekly flight will deliver up to 23 tons of mail cargo. We are talking about ePacket class shipments (an accelerated type of delivery from online stores in China).

"The use of its own planes gives Russian Post the opportunity to ensure the stability of transportation, independently control logistics and delivery volumes on the routes, regardless of the schedule of other air carriers. Own planes also make it possible to regulate and direct mail flows by regions. As the result it helps to speed up cargo handling and reduce delivery time", - noted the company.

It is assumed that in the future the number of flights may be increased to three or four per week.
