Russia increased exports of agricultural equipment to 5.1 billion rubles in the first quarter of 2022, which is 30% more than during the same period of 2021, according to the Russian Association of Specialized Machinery Manufacturers Rosspetsmash.
"The quantitative growth of exports is fixed in the following segments: the supply of forage harvesters increased by 2.9 times, grain harvesters - by 2.7 times, mowers - by 90%, machines for fertilizers - by 62%, sprayers - by 54%, reapers - by 42%," - noted the association.
There are 22 countries on the territory of the country. The main foreign destinations are the CIS and EU countries, as well as Egypt and Mongolia. Thus, shipments to Hungary increased in money terms by 3.6 times, to Egypt - 3.2 times, to Poland - 2.9 times, to Moldova - 2.3 times, to Uzbekistan - by 87%, to Mongolia - 81%, to Azerbaijan - 65%, to Kazakhstan - 16%, to Bulgaria - 16%, the report said.
At the same time the growth of export of agricultural machinery to the EU countries was provided mainly by deliveries in January-February, added in "Rosspetsmash.
