Trade turnover between Russia and Singapore has increased by 33% since the beginning of 2022

Trade turnover between Russia and Singapore in the first quarter of 2022 increased by 33% and reached 1.2 billion dollars, according to data from the Enterprise Agency of Singapore.

In particular, Russian exports amounted to 1.51 1.1 billion dollars, imports - 112,82.4 million dollars.

At the same time in March there was a sharp decline in trade turnover - almost 8.5 times. It was $61.3 million, while a year ago this figure was $520.5 million.

Recall that on March 5, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore announced the introduction of sanctions against Russian banks and financial institutions. Transactions and financial services aimed at raising capital for the Russian government and entities owned or controlled by the Russian government are also banned.
