A tannery in Altai re-oriented exports from Europe to China

In Altai Krai tannery, which is a part of the group of companies "Russian Leather" against the background of anti-Russian sanctions has reoriented the supply of products from Europe to China, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the region, Minister of Economic Development Anatoly Nagornov.

"Russkaya Kozha" (a resident of the TSEZ in Zarinsk) has already reoriented itself to other partners in the current circumstances. Until February 2022, the main share of product deliveries was to European countries through its parent company. Now there has already been a reorientation and approximately 70% of production will go to the PRC as customers," he said.

The tannery at Russian Leather was built in the city of Zarinsk in Altai Territory in 2019. The investor allocated 2.1 billion rubles for the project.
