Representatives of companies from Tatarstan visited Senegal on a business visit

The delegation of Tatarstan, headed by the President of the Republic Rustam Minnikhanov, which included representatives of regional companies, visited Senegal. During the visit the prospects for strengthening cooperation in the field of mechanical engineering and other areas were discussed.

During the meeting with his foreign colleagues, the head of Tatarstan pointed out the interest of the republic in cooperation with Senegal.

"We came to Senegal with the aim of expanding trade and economic cooperation and establishing new business contacts. We believe that Tatarstan has great prospects in working with Senegal in the field of mechanical engineering, petrochemistry, agriculture and innovative industries," he said.

Representatives of Kamaz, who were part of the delegation, discussed possibilities for expanding cooperation with Senegal in the field of machine building. In particular, they told the hosts about the capabilities of the enterprise in the production of trucks and willingness to develop partnerships, according to the press service of the company.

As of today, Kamaz has already delivered to Senegal almost 170 of its trucks - tractors for container transportation. In 2021 Senegalese drivers and mechanics were trained on the territory of the customer and in the training center of "Kamaz" in Naberezhnye Chelny.
