Egypt purchased a batch of 16 combine harvesters from Rostselmash. The domestic manufacturer has already exported all the equipment to the African continent, the Russian company said.
We are talking about fifteen Acros 595 Plus and one Torum 785. Combines came with 7- and 9-meter Power Stream cereals headers and with Argus headers for corn.
After service equipment will be ready to start harvesting grains, its start is scheduled for mid-April. Combine harvesters will be used for reclamation of desert lands near Toshka lake.
Rostselmash has been cooperating with Egypt since 2020. At that time, the domestic company supplied R-series cultivators to the North African state. Last year, after winning the state tender, the country imported Acros 585 for the first time. Combines have already shown their effectiveness when working in a hot climate, the company said.
The equipment delivery is also provided with service, because the dealer has a well-developed service infrastructure, repair base and qualified personnel. Rostselmash also provides its support. For example, last year the service engineers and teachers of the company's academy trained the personnel of the dealer organization in Egypt. In addition, they helped put the agricultural machines into operation, advised machine operators on the most effective settings of combines and accompanied the equipment during operation. "Similar work is being done today. A group of Russian specialists is already on site," specified Rostselmash Sales Department Director Maxim Maximov.
