Legendary American rock singer Iggy Pop will perform at the Park Live music festival in Moscow on July 10, 2022. It was announced by the organizers of the event.
"For the first time at Park Live - Iggy Pop! The punk rock legend will close the festival Sunday, July 10," they noted.
Iggy Pop is an American rock vocalist and one of the founders of alternative rock. For his contribution to the development of alternative rock he is known as the "godfather" of punk rock and grunge. In the 1960s and '70s he was a vocalist with The Stooges.
The Park Live festival has been held in Moscow since 2013. In 2020 and 2021, the festival was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
It is expected that in 2022 it will take place in the park area of the Luzhniki sports complex. My Chemical Romance, Sum 41, Placebo, Gorillaz, Grandson, Deftones, Slipknot, Bullet for my Valentine and The Killers will perform there.
