Days of spiritual culture of Russia will be held in Athens on December 13-14 within the framework of the Year of Russian and Greek history, writes TASS.
In particular, the Greek Foreign Ministry will open a historical exhibition "Russia and Greece - pages of shared history", where the Director of the Department of Museums and Foreign Relations of the Russian Ministry of Culture Alexander Voronko will speak, as well as special representative of the Prime Minister of Greece, Deputy Co-Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Year of Russian-Greek history Elias Klis.
Also at the Epigraphic Museum in Athens will open the exhibition "Phanagoria - the archaeological pearl of Russia," which will include a panel discussion on "The role of historical museums in Russia and Greece to preserve the historical and cultural heritage.
On Tuesday, December 14, in the Russian House will be held an exhibition devoted to the 200th anniversary of the writer Fyodor Dostoyevsky.
In the municipal complex "Serafio" in Athens will take place the opening of the exhibition of the most picturesque places of Russia "The most beautiful country" of the Russian Geographical Society and the exhibition devoted to the unique heritage of the State Historical, Ethnographic and Architectural Museum-Reserve "Kizhi".
