Aeromax drones will help Kostroma region in agriculture and fire fighting

Unmanned aerial systems of Aeromax company will be used in Kostroma region in different directions, including fire safety. Such agreement was signed during MAKS-2021 by Yury Makov, deputy governor of the region, and Sergey Akhmetshin, general director of Aeromax, the company's press service informed "Made in Russia".

"Kostroma region stretches almost 500 km from west to east, we have very large territories, huge forest fund, but population density is low. So in order to control such areas we need modern equipment for monitoring the forest fire situation and the forest regeneration process, and for other purposes. I am sure that the introduction of unmanned aerial vehicles will allow us to significantly improve the quality of this work, to introduce strict technological control processes to detect forest fires and to use them in the sphere of agriculture", - the Governor of the Kostroma region Sergey Sitnikov said.

According to Sergey Akhmetshin, General Director of Aeromax, by joining efforts with the city, the company is ready to implement comprehensive projects for agricultural and forestry complexes - strategically important sectors in the region.

"Already now, we are ready to assess the extent of damage to forests caused by windfalls, as well as to prepare a feasibility study for the design of sanitary cuttings," he commented.
