Russia's largest river cruise operator organized a unique tour to Baikal

The largest Russian river cruise operator "Vodohod" has launched new all-inclusive sightseeing river tours to Baikal. The first tourist group will go from Ulan-Ude to Irkutsk already in August. "Highlight" of the trip will be travelling along Lake Baikal on a modern hovercraft (Hovercraft), created by individual order.

"The voyage will follow a one-way route, little represented in the Siberian tourist market, which covers the most interesting natural and cultural attractions of the Western and Eastern shores of Baikal, Ushkany Islands, Olkhon and Ogoi, as well as Barguzin and Chivyrkuisky bays, Small Sea and Olkhonsky Gates. It will be possible to explore Baikal both from Irkutsk and Ulan-Ude - in any case, one-way route, as well as the speed and maneuverability of the hovercraft will allow to get more experience during the nine-day trip and see almost thirty locations, each of which will help to explore this unique region of our planet", - the company said.

During the educational cruise tourists will get acquainted with traditions and culture of the Buryat people, will visit the Baikal nature reserve, have a rest at thermal springs and on the local beaches, take a ride on retro-train of Circum-Baikal railway, taste national delicacies and much more.

The ship will have everything to spend time on the road in comfort. "Comfortable armchairs, monitors, a bathroom, special noise insulation of the cabin - all this allows to relax and travel in an atmosphere of relaxation", - the company notes.
