Amber Palace company will take part in the first Moscow jewelry exhibition-congress J-1, which will be held in Moscow in September this year. The event is one of the most significant in the jewelry industry in Russia.

The exhibition will take place from September 20 to 26 in the Crocus Expo exhibition complex.

"For Amber Palace congress, exhibition and contest J-1 are extremely important because it is the first major event in the jewelry industry in 2020. The main objectives for us are to strengthen ties and contacts with niche partners, new acquaintances, and the experience of participating in such a modern and major congress," said the company representative.

About the exhibition

Organizers say J-1 will be the first event of its kind to bring together all the formats and segments of the jewelry industry. The event programme consists of three parts: a modern exhibition of jewellery companies, a jewellery craftsmanship competition and a jewellery congress covering business, art, craftsmanship and education.

J-1 will host Russia's first professional international competition for jewellery designers. Ilgiz Fazulzyanov, a Russian jeweller and the author of the ILGIZ F brand, is to chair the jury of the contest. Contestants may be nominated in 11 categories, including Best Jeweler, Best Stonesmith, Best Sculptor, Best Jewellery Educator, Young Jeweller, etc. Applications were accepted starting June 1, and more than 400 entries were received by September 1.

Jewellery Congress will also be held within the framework of the exhibition, featuring public discussions, master classes and lectures open to all guests of the exhibition. Experts will discuss changes in the Russian jewellery market following the pandemic, necessary legal reforms, tools for survival during the crisis, experience of foreign colleagues and industry trends for 2020-2021. Moreover, participants and visitors of the congress were offered to attend a free five-day educational intensive course, to be led by top industry speakers.

According to organizers, the original purpose of the jewelry exhibition was to bring together the best Russian and international jewellery experience. However, the mission of the event was adjusted due to the pandemic, and now the goal of the event is to help the jewelry industry to overcome the crisis and identify new ways of development. Among other aims of the new exhibition project was to support the Russian jewellery industry in post-crisis period, searching for new ways of development of the industry, establishing cooperation with government agencies, including on acute issues of export and import of jewellery.

All members of industry are invited to take part in the exhibition - jewelers, jewellery producers, suppliers of stones, representatives of specialized media, banks, legal, logistic and other companies linked with jewellery industry, photographic studios, students of art institutes and other specialists.

About Amber Palace Company

For more than 20 years Amber Palace Company has been manufacturing tableware, souvenirs, jewellery and other exclusive handmade products made of natural amber, silver and white gold jewelry bronze.

Company's visiting card is amber tableware and interior items, which are manufactured using a patented technology and have no analogues. Composition of "Amber Palace" products is 100% natural amber and silver of 875 hallmark (or white jewelry bronze).

The company's technological process consists in "sintering" of amber stones into a single whole: amber raw material is heated at a gentle temperature, and then slightly cooled under the press in special molds without oxygen. Under influence of low temperatures and a gentle mode, pieces of amber are joined together by means of diffusion along the perimeter only. The semi-finished product is then carefully polished by hand, and connected to the silver pieces using special pins and professional glue. Thanks to such approach each product receives a unique special pattern, as well as preservation of aesthetic and physical properties of the mineral without any artificial or natural additives.

Design of "Amber Palace" products combines high artistic style and jewelry craftsmanship. Masters of the company are inspired not only by modern trends in jewelry, but also by Russian jewelry traditions which were created in the XVIII-XIX centuries by world-famous masters such as Carl Faberge or brothers Grachevs, Birbaum Frantz and others.

Apart from tableware, Amber Palace creates original gifts and souvenirs for every taste: Christmas-tree toys, card holders, tea sets, paintings, dominoes, chess, boxes, clocks and many other things - all made exclusively from the best natural materials by highly qualified specialists.

Amber Palace regularly participates in various jewellery exhibitions: AMBERIF (Gdansk, Poland), AMBERTRIP (Vilnius, Lithuania), Frankfurt Messe and Munich Messe (Germany), IJT (Tokyo, Japan) and in international jewellery fairs in Hong Kong and Beijing, starting from 2012. The company is also a regular participant of the main jewelry fairs in Russia, held in St. Petersburg and Moscow.
