Moscow company Logos PF has delivered virtual simulators for metro drivers in Moscow and Baku

The leading enterprise in the Russian market for production of computer simulators for military, automobile and special equipment Logos PF has developed special simulators for subway drivers. Such simulators are already used in training in the Moscow (Russia) and Baku (Azerbaijan) subways.

Earlier the corresponding simulators were delivered to Budapest (Hungary) and Yerevan (Armenia) subways.

"PF Logos" has made delivery of driving simulators for train drivers for the training and production center of the Moscow subway and Baku city," the company said.

The working place of the trainee on the train dispatcher simulator is virtually the same as the real workplace - the driver learns to operate the virtual metro line on the real dispatching software in the simulated train cabin.

In addition, the simulator uses voice control and speech synthesis systems. "The trainee can transmit orders to the virtual train drivers and employees of various subway services using a microphone just as it is done in reality. Accordingly, the virtual participants of the programmed process also communicate in voice mode using a computer speech synthesis system. As a result the simulator ensures maximum realism of the training process", explained the company.

As part of the training, drivers also get into various abnormal situations that can happen while working on the line: a fire in a tunnel and a car, track flooding, failures of train equipment or track devices, falling of a passenger on the tracks, etc.

"In addition to the fact that simulation of abnormal situations is reliably close to the real situation, it can be performed both manually - from the instructor's workplace, and in accordance with a prearranged plan, i.e. at a given time and place. This approach allows a more qualified assessment of the actions of the trainees in various contingency situations," explained the representative of the company.

The high resolution displays at the instructor's workplace allow real time observation of all the actions of the trainees. Three-dimensional view from the cabin window and the image from the video camera, available in the simulator cabin, allows you to watch on the instructor's display the train control and the entire simulated metro line. Moreover, 4K displays show images of such a high quality that they increase the realism of the simulation, while reducing stress on the eyesight of users.

Other transportation simulators

In addition to simulators for subway drivers, Logos has also developed and started to deliver simulators for drivers of urban municipal transport - buses, trolley buses, trams and electric buses.

Realistic simulation of a megalopolis, unique urban development, complex road network and urban traffic using various methods of artificial intelligence, detailed three-dimensional large-format visualization are the main features of this type of simulators.

About Company

PE Logos Ltd. was founded in 1991 and nowadays it is a leading company in computer simulators production for military, automobile and special equipment. Simulators are modern technologies and tools, in which specialist training in difficult and emergency situations is based on different scenarios in a virtual environment.

Due to simulation in a virtual environment, Logos production company's simulator complexes make it possible to improve technical operating skills of subway drivers and dispatchers, municipal transport drivers, motorists of special services, operators of large quarry and logging equipment, as well as military personnel.

The company has built one of the strongest teams of engineers and developers in the world in the field of computer simulators.
