Outdoor gear and clothing manufacturer BASK has released COVID-19 jumpsuits and masks

Russian manufacturer of gear and clothing for tourism, sports, outdoor activities in extreme weather conditions "BASK" during the pandemic of coronavirus infection has released a line of personal protective equipment (PPE) that minimizes the risk of COVID-19 infection. The PPE line includes several models of protective coveralls, shoe covers, as well as protective masks for adults and children.

The company was included by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade in the list of light industry enterprises, which allowed it to continue operating in the period of restrictions and increased readiness regime.

"When developing the models of protective coveralls, we took the plague-proof suits of medical workers as a basis. The fabric formulation was created in our laboratories in collaboration with infectious disease doctors and tested many times, including for reaction after treatment with various disinfectants. We have managed in a short time to create high quality protective suits, which will be useful to those who do not interact with the sick on a regular basis, but are at risk of contracting coronavirus due to the nature of their work," - said the representative of "BASK".

For example, protective suits made by "BASK" can be used by auxiliary services employees of hospitals, disinfectors, volunteers and couriers. However, the company intends to obtain the necessary certificates so that doctors and nurses working directly in the "red zones" - the epicenter of the coronavirus can also use "BASK" protective suits. Availability of certificates should confirm compliance of the company's products with technical requirements established for personal protective equipment by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and Rosstandart.

The series of personal protective equipment of "BASK" includes the following models of suits:

• GUARD - coveralls made of light breathable fabric for protection against dust and particulate matter;
• GUARD PLUS - coveralls made of light breathable fabric with special water-repellent impregnation DWR to protect against splashing liquids, dust and particulate matter;
• ARMOR/ARMOR PRO - overalls with water-repellent DWR impregnation for protection against splashes of liquids, dust and particulates. The membrane fabric used to assemble the suits is capable of protecting against water, biological and oil contamination;
• APRON ARMOR PRO - apron made of three-layer membrane fabric with water-repellent DWR impregnation for protection against splashing liquids, mud and solid particles.

Other highlights include BASK OVERBOOTS GUARD shoe covers in a lightweight fabric, and a face shield with volume control. All protective clothing is made from a material with high durability and protection properties, while allowing the body to "breathe", ensuring proper air exchange between the body and clothing.

To promote a new line of clothing BASK company joined the online showcase of the exhibition Sport Casual Moscow, created a separate page with a catalog of personal protective equipment for health workers, volunteers, special services, construction workers, employees of utilities, as well as materials and equipment for their production.
