HEM, a manufacturer and supplier of laboratory materials, received an award-winning account on Europages

The leading manufacturer and supplier of products for medical laboratories of various profiles "HEM" in 2020 received a premium account on the leading international electronic trading platform Europages for the development of export potential.

The company was selected by the Moscow Export Center (MEC), subordinate to the capital's Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development. The companies were selected as part of the first stage of the new acceleration program for Moscow exporters E-com Success. Applications for the promotion of their products on the Europages.com resource was started at the end of April this year.

In total, 27 companies and enterprises together with GEM became the owners of the premium accounts. The opportunity to promote their products on the international marketplace got enterprises in the field of medicine, cosmetics, fashion industry, transportation, IT and other areas.

Account Opportunities and Selection

In 2020, the MEC launched the E-com Success e-commerce support program, which aims to prepare and promote on the world's leading marketplaces Moscow enterprises aimed at exporting their products. The Europages.com platform has become one of the partners of this acceleration program, with 100 Moscow enterprises receiving premium accounts this year.

When selecting companies, experts assess the applicants' experience in e-commerce, as well as the necessary skills and competencies of their employees. A prerequisite for participation in the program is the valid registration as a legal entity in Moscow, the absence of arrears in the payment of taxes and fees, and the absence in relation to the candidate procedure of reorganization, liquidation or bankruptcy. The proportion of the company's employees working in Moscow must be at least 50%. The commission includes representatives of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Development, the Moscow Chamber of Commerce, the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Europages.com operator in Russia Grand Hector LLC, and other experts.

Premium International status holders get the opportunity to set up the largest number of keywords to search for a company and its products and to list up to 200 product items in the virtual storefront. Benefits of this access also include full account content translation in 15 languages. Thanks to the capabilities of this option, the company's products will appear in the first lines of the Google search engine. In addition, free services for entrepreneurs include design and content services for the company's mini-site on the site, adapted to its needs.

The Moscow Export Center covers costs of training businessmen on how to use Europages.com, create, verify and set up their accounts, and assign them a privileged status.
