Sinicon opened a new building of its own plant in 2020

Sinicon, a company producing pipes and fittings made of modern polymeric materials for sewage and water supply systems, commissioned a new 4 thousand square meter building of its own plant in 2020.

"As always, energy-saving technologies were applied during construction of the new building. Taking into account the large height of the production and storage facilities, the heating system was implemented on the basis of warm "water" floors. This type of heating allows achieving a more even and comfortable distribution of heat in the premises, as well as saving due to the low temperature of the coolant and reducing heat loss. On the basis of our own practical experience, energy-saving solutions have also been implemented in the design of technological systems involved in production processes," the company says.

The new building is intended to significantly increase the company's production capacity in the short to medium term.

In the short term the entire fleet of injection molding machines used for production of fittings and the associated peripheral equipment was completely relocated into the new building. All relocation work was carried out without interrupting production completely. In addition, the company plans to increase its fleet of large-capacity injection molding machines by the end of this year and expand its range of fittings by introducing new molds.

"The 2 thousand square meters vacated in the old building will be used to develop extrusion production. Two new extrusion lines are planned to be launched in 2021. One of them will be based on Krauss Maffei twin-screw extruder and will be used to produce monolayer and three-layer pipes made of polypropylene with mineral filling. It will enable to increase output of "Comfort" series pipes with lower noise level and decrease their cost due to elimination of preliminary granulation of polypropylene with mineral components from the technological process," the plant pointed out.

The second line will enable to start production of polyethylene cross-linked pipes (PEX) for water supply and heating systems and expand the company's in-house product range.

About the Company

Sinikon was founded in 1996 and is a Russian manufacturer of pipes and fittings made of modern polymeric materials for sewage and water supply systems. Synikon was co-founded by VALSIR, an Italian company, which is a part of international holding FONDITAL (one of the world leaders in production of heating systems, water supply and sewerage).

At present the company holds leading positions in production and sale of tubular goods for sewerage systems in Russia.

The Sinikon factory is equipped with up-to-date equipment, which makes it possible to produce really qualitative products, complying with Russian and European standards.

Sinikon factory produces pipes and fittings for four systems of indoor and outdoor sewerage:

- "Sinicon" Standard - polypropylene pipes and fittings for non-pressure internal sewerage, designed for domestic wastewater with a temperature of 80˚C (short-term wastewater up to a temperature of 95˚C).

- Sewage with reduced noise level "Sinicon" Comfort - non-pressure polypropylene pipes and fittings with mineral additives for high mechanical resistance, excellent acoustic properties and resistance to aggressive environment.

- "Sinicon" Rain Flow - pipes and fittings for internal drains of buildings up to 100 meters high.

- "SINIKON" Universal - pipes and fittings for external drainage systems.

- SINIKON THERMOLINE PE-Xb EVOH pipes are made of cross-linked polyethylene with PEX-b/EVOH barrier layer. They are used for low-temperature heating, water supply and in particular for underfloor heating systems.

In its activities, the company is guided by the principle of continuous improvement: it modernizes and expands production, implements new technologies and expands the range of products offered. In 2015, the company received a certificate of compliance with GOST 32414-2013 "Pipes and fittings made of polypropylene for domestic sewage systems". In 2016 - the certificate of compliance with the European standard DIN EN 1451-1:1999-03 together with DIN CEN/TS 1451-2:2012-05 as well as DIN 4102-1:1998-5 and DIN 4102-4:1994-03 or DIN EN ISO 11925-2:2011-02 together with DIN EN 13501-1:2010-01.

In addition, Sinicon implemented an ISO 9001:2008 quality management system in 2015, which was certified for compliance and confirmed in 2016 by the international company TÜV Rheinland. The certificate issued confirms the company's ability to always deliver products that meet customer needs and comply with mandatory requirements. In 2018, Sinicon switched to the new ISO 9001:2015 standard, which was also certified for compliance and confirmed by TÜV Rheinland in the same year.

Today, Sinikon's partners are the largest Russian wholesale and construction companies: FGC Group, PIK Group, Samolet Group, Donstroy. Besides, the plant's products are used in new buildings under renovation program in Moscow.
