"Business Partners has developed a unique system for real-time security surveillance at public events

Russian company "Business Partners System House" has developed a unique kit for real-time monitoring of public events and gathering places.

"As the device allows to get a constant stream of materials "from the crowd" for quick analysis, its use at mass events is able to greatly facilitate the work of security services, as well as contributes to effective surveillance and control of order in places of mass gathering of people. The System House kit was successfully used as part of the Sochi Olympics and was highly appreciated by the staff on site," said the company's representative.

He specified that the kit can be divided into two parts: mobile for operational carrying and stationary for getting materials from the site.

Operational staff in the field is given a set, which consists of the following elements: open carry camera / hidden (depending on the tasks and situations), mobile transmitter with wireless summation function and the ability to transmit directly over Wi-Fi network to the outside surveillance vehicle (if available).

As open carry cameras can be used all wide range of professional television equipment, capable of transmitting high quality HD images. For covert shooting package provides integration with analog cameras concealed carry. These cameras allow you to get a picture of sufficient quality for subsequent identification of persons caught in the lens.

Transmitter for concealed carry combines up to 7 Internet channels in a single broadband channel, of which 4 connections - GSM, 1 - Wi-Fi, 2 - LAN or satellite. The channel is protected by encryption protocol, at the same time there is a possibility of superimposing additional encryption on the channel according to FSS standards. In the case of GSM signal suppression system, the transmitter has the ability to send the material directly to the rapid escort car via Wi-Fi.

Similar in functionality equipment for summarizing the wireless Internet channels is placed in the operational car, which carries out the final transfer of materials to the situation center. Transmitter for open carrying has 6 built-in GSM modems and Wi-Fi transmitter. The device is capable of transmitting high quality video and has a shockproof housing. On the receiving end is the server hardware, consisting of three servers. One of the servers (media server) is responsible for archiving, cataloguing and distribution of data at the request of employees. The second and third servers perform the function of receiving streaming video, capturing it and transmitting to the video server. In the receiving part of the kit, analytical software "Portrait Search" is integrated for fast identification of the mass event participants recorded.

Set usage scenario is as follows: operatives, by means of hidden and/or operator's cameras, record mass event directly from the places of mass actions or crowds of people in real time. The video footage is instantly transmitted to the situation center or an operational support vehicle for analysis and decision-making on taking timely steps appropriate to the situation. Moreover, all data can be simultaneously broadcast to multiple locations, enabling coordinated joint analysis.

Conflict Resolution

The sets developed by the "Business Partners System House" also help to solve conflicts. For example, on the West the concept of "mobile patrol" - mobile camera sets for patrol officers of security services is introduced long ago. Video footage may become an element of evidence in legal proceedings against a perpetrator. As a rule, such systems work only for recording, which does not allow dispatchers to promptly take measures to support officers on departure at the scene of the incident.

The system of "Business Partners System House" is capable to record and simultaneously transmit video material as initiated by security officers as well as on request of a dispatcher. Devices of video recordings are given to the patrolmen and put on service vehicles to control what is happening inside and outside of it. At the same time, the location of each vehicle is determined by the GPS module. The dispatcher is able to get the video signal from any patrol by clicking on an icon on the interactive map.

The internet summation system can provide reliable data transmission even from areas with mediocre cellular network coverage. Video documentation of what happens to an officer during the prevention and suppression of an offence can qualitatively reduce the number of disputable and conflicting situations.
