Argus NV patented its own development in 2019, which has no analogues in the world

Specializing in the development and production of opto-electronic devices for civil and special purposes, Argus-NV received a patent in 2019 for its own development - the locking mechanism of the bracket lock.

"In 2019, the chief designer of TPK Argus-NV LLC has developed an unparalleled arm locking mechanism in the world. This mechanism can be used in brackets for small arms equipped with a dovetail mounting location. No protruding parts avoid occasional snagging by clothing, belts, branches, etc. Ease of use and ergonomics ensures quick adjustment of clamping force, mounting and demounting the bracket from the gun," explained in the company.

Test operation of the prototype confirmed the influence of all significant features on the technical result: reliable mounting of the bracket on the Dovetail rail and ease of mounting, locking, opening and removing the bracket.

The new development was patented by the Russian Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent) as a useful model under Russian patent No. 191323 "Mechanism for fastening the lock of the bracket" in a very short time - from filing an application to registration in the State Register of useful models and obtaining a patent took just over 3 months.

"For Argus-NV trade and industrial company, 2019 was not only the year when the company's developments receive legal support at the state level, but also the year of active participation in various exhibitions and promotion of the updated product line," the company said.

Thus, in October 2019, several key events took place in Russia, in which Argus NV took part to promote its own products, as well as to find new partners and potential buyers.

ARMS & HUNTING

From October, 10 till October, 13th one of the largest exhibitions in Russia - ARMS & HUNTING, devoted to hunting, civil hunting and sports arms took place in Gostinny Dvor in Moscow. The exhibition brings together the best dealers and distributors of weapons, accessories and hunting equipment. The widest assortment of products, represented both by the honored brands with a solid history and very promising new products, allows the buyer to choose weapons and equipment in any price and quality segment.

During the exhibition "Argus-NV" company has presented all the line of goods at its own stand - these are night sights and pre-sight sights, thermal sights and pre-sight sights for various distances hunting, brackets to mount optics on weapons, infrared flashlights and a number of other important accessories.

In addition, during the exhibition Argus-NV for the first time presented and products of the company under the logo "Argus-SB" - the latest video surveillance and access control systems that serve to implement the security of the territory, for example, a country house or hunting grounds.

INTERPOLITEX - 2019

Also in 2019, the XXIII International Exhibition of State Security Equipment "INTERPOLITEX - 2019" was held from 22 to 25 October in the 75th exhibition hall of VDNH in Moscow, where more than 370 domestic and foreign companies were present and presented their innovative products. Among them - 31 companies from seven foreign countries. Among the regular exhibitors of INTERPOLITEX are 211 large domestic enterprises, such as: "Rostec", CJSC "NELK", LLC "CRT", JSC "Horizont", JSC "Automobile plant "Ural", etc.

Commercial and industrial company "Argus-NV" annually takes part in this event. The line of marksmanship devices presented at Interpolitex is designed specifically for professional consumers. Also during the exhibition there were held talks with the company's regular partners and found some interested consumers.

Russia-Africa Summit and Economic Forum

The most important international event of 2019 was the Russia-Africa Summit and Economic Forum in Sochi on October 23-24.

The Russia-Africa Summit was held for the first time in modern Russia and is unparalleled in the history of Russian-African relations. Within the framework of the Summit, priority areas of economic cooperation were identified, in which concrete results can be achieved in the coming years.

The "Russia-Africa Economic Forum" was held in Sochi in conjunction with the Summit, which was attended by African Heads of State, representatives of Russian, African and international business and government agencies, as well as representatives of integration associations of the African continent.

Such event became the most important step towards the strengthening of partnership relations in the field of trade and economy between the Russian Federation and African countries, as well as allowed to diversify the forms and directions of the Russian-African cooperation.

"Argus-NV Commercial and Industrial Company was invited to the forum in order to present its latest developments in the field of optoelectronic systems. Therefore, first of all, the key products among thermal imaging devices and accessories to them were demonstrated," the company told.

The delegations from different African countries - Algeria, Egypt, Nigeria, South Africa, Democratic Republic of Congo, South Sudan and others - showed a special interest in the company's products. Argus-NV is currently in the initial stages of negotiations with representatives of some of these countries.
