The Moscow-based company MEDPLANT, which develops and manufactures medical equipment for emergency care, has released new first aid kits based on its own development - a turnstile tourniquet in 2020.
These kits can be useful for employees of airports, railway stations, educational institutions, employees of various transport, as well as volunteers, motorists, police officers, shopping mall employees and many others.
The company produced a total of four types of bags to accommodate first aid kits: a bag, a backpack, a transformer bag, and a pouch for hanging from a copter. Each bag comes in three colors: red, orange, and olive.
About the new kits
The development of emergency kits was based on the key product of MEDPLANT - tourniquet tourniquet LCD-MEDPLANT. These sets are intended for rendering the first aid before arrival of medical workers at respiratory and circulatory stoppage, absence of consciousness, traumas, external bleedings, burns, effects of high temperatures, thermal radiation, frostbites and other effects of low temperatures.
The products and accompanying equipment included in the new first aid kits make it possible to provide first aid in crowded places, e.g. during big sports competitions, rock festivals, as well as in any other emergency situation.
Kits have a basic and advanced first aid kits, each of which is divided into two versions. In one or the other set one can find the following means of assistance: blood-stopping tourniquets, elastic bandages, adhesive plasters, scissors, respirator, tissues, rescue blanket, anti-burn dressings, medical gloves and bandages. Expanded kits can also include immobilization transport collar splint and device for transportation of the injured person.
Tourniquet "ZK-MEDPLANT"
Tourniquet "ZK-MEDPLANT" was developed in 2013, and today it is successfully used in all spheres of victims assistance: ambulance services, military and extreme situations. The tourniquet is available in several versions ("ZK-01-MEDPLANT" and "ZK-02-MEDPLANT") and is designed to temporarily stop bleeding when arterial vessels of lower and upper extremities are injured. The product can be used by ambulance workers as well as by police officers, firemen, drivers and ordinary citizens. The product has a simplified design, thanks to which it can be applied not only by a specially trained ambulance worker, but also by the victim himself within 10-15 seconds.
