In 2020, Alternativa brought to the Russian construction market new system solutions relevant to different tasks

In the current year, Alternativa, one of the largest Russian manufacturers of façade systems, has developed and introduced to the Russian construction market a new fastening of the sub-facing structure with subsequent bricklaying on it, as well as the latest system for the application of large-format type cladding on the façades of buildings. Both solutions are unique and topical in the construction field.

"Fixing the sub-facing structure to any type of foundation with subsequent brickwork on it is the solution that professional builders have been waiting for so long and which in the near future will replace the outdated technology of "well" bricklaying," said the company representative.

He specified that bricks of any marks and any physical and mechanical properties can be used within hinged facade system "ALT-FASAD-K" from "ALT-FASAD", as structural strength is defined by carrying capacity of developed technical solution within "ALT-FASAD-K" system.

Simultaneously with system for facing of bricks, the company has launched the newest system for application on facades of buildings of wide-format type of facing, for example, thin-walled ceramic granite. "This solution allows architects to implement the most daring and ambitious projects without crushing the façade space, but on the contrary, as if 'gluing' the entire image of the building into a single whole," explained the company.

Such types of hinged façade systems are:

• constructions consisting of brackets (prefabricated and unassembled) designed for installation on the building base (wall or interfloor floor ends) with the help of anchor dowels or anchors;
• horizontal support rails, fixed to the brackets with a connection kit consisting of a bolt, a washer and a nut or tension rivets;
• vertical rails fixed to the horizontal rails or brackets using pull-out rivets;
• additional structural elements in the form of lintel fasteners to the horizontal support rails and window lintel fasteners to the horizontal support rails with a connection kit consisting of studs, washers and nuts;
• insulation products (if the thermal insulation requirement exists) to be installed in one or two layers on the substrate, secured by means of insulation plugs or special fastening elements
• Wind barrier material fixed to the outer surface of the thermal insulation layer, if necessary;
• cladding (external decorative shield) in the form of masonry made of ceramic, clinker or silicate bricks;
• The ALTIT® coating system can also be used for cladding facades and wall insulation on the outside of buildings and structures of various purposes in areas with different geological and geophysical conditions and in different wind zones. That is the application of "ALT-FACADE" systems.
