Manufacturer of analytical and laboratory equipment "Akvilon" has developed a new photometric sensor FD-01. The product is designed to work as a part of potentiometric automatic titrator ATP-02 and allows to implement on it not only methods of potentiometric titration, but also almost all methods developed on the basis of photometric titration both with and without indicator.
ATP-02 automatic titrator
Considering all features and design features of ATP-02, connection of FD-01 transforms it into a titration complex implementing the tasks of potentiometric, photometric, and turbidimetric titrations.
The sensor is designed in a way, that users of laboratories, where there is already an ATP-02 titrator, can commence their measurements immediately after connecting the FD-01.
The Titrate software included in the ATP-02 titrator delivery set remains practically unchanged (with some small innovations in the construction of measuring procedures). Version of the software can be downloaded free of charge from the site of Aquilon.
Titrator application
Titrators ATP-02 equipped with photometric sensor FD-01 are designed for use in analytical testing laboratories carrying out state and production control of safety and quality of products and raw materials, potable water, objects of environment, technological processes in chemical and processing industries, technological cycle water in thermal and nuclear power engineering, for forensic and forensic medical examination and also in research and other laboratories.
Photometric titration is applied for all types of titrations (acid-base, redox, precipitation and complexometric) with application of color indicators, in case the color of the tested solution changes, as well as in case sediment appears/disappears or the color of the tested solution darkens/lightens (turbidimetric titration). When potentiometric determination of the equivalence point is impossible or complicated, but a convenient, simple and reliable method of analysis is required, then the ATP-02 automatic titrator with an FD-01 probe is a worthy choice.
There is a wide range of possible applications of ATP-02 titrator equipped with FD-01 sensor as per the requirements of national regulatory documents (GOST, SanPiN, PND F, RD, MVI etc.) and also as per the requirements of USP, BP and Ph Eur, ASTM and many other standards applied all over the world.
