Transneft has received applications for pumping oil from Poland and Germany

The company "Transneft" has received applications from the authorities of Poland and Germany for pumping oil for December and for 2023. This was stated by the president of the company Nikolay Tokarev on the air of the TV channel "Russia-24".

"They announced that they would not take oil from Russia from the first of January. And applications have come to us now from Polish consumers: give us 3 million tons for next year, and 360 thousand tons for December, and Germany has already submitted an application for the first quarter - give it too," Tokarev said.

Recall that on December 1, Germany and Poland signed a joint declaration on mutual support in the field of oil supply security. By signing the declaration, both sides want to ensure the operation of the Polish refineries in Gdansk and Plock and the German refineries in Schwedt and Loin and supply them with a sufficient amount of crude oil.
