Since the beginning of 2022, 19 sports facilities have been built in Moscow. Among them are the international sambo Center and the boxing center in Luzhniki, opened in September. This was told by the vice-mayor of the capital Andrey Bochkarev. His words are quoted by the press service of the city government.
"In 11.5 months we have built and commissioned 19 sports facilities. This figure corresponds to the one stated in the annual plan. In 2023, we plan to build 22 more structures," Bochkarev said.
Next year it is planned to put into operation several large facilities on the territory of the Luzhniki Stadium, an ice palace in Yasenev, a sports complex in Nekrasovka.
Recall that over the past 12 years, about 170 stadiums, ice palaces, FOXes, football fields and other large sports facilities have appeared in Moscow. In 2023-2025, as part of the Targeted Investment Program, 27 sports facilities are planned to be built and put into operation in the capital.
