The Literary and Patriotic Prize in the field of fiction was established in Moscow

Next year, Moscow will present a literary prize for the best patriotic fiction. A message about this was published on the website of the Military-Patriotic Cinema Support Fund.

According to them, the purpose of the award is to highlight talented authors who are able to focus in their works not on commercial effect, but on creative tasks of a higher level, including the formation of a positive image of the country.

"The founders of the award were the Union of Figures of Fantastic Literature and Cinema, the International Center of Fiction, the literary conference "Roscon", the Union of Writers of the Russian Federation with the support of the Fund for the Support of Military-Patriotic Cinema. The award ceremony will take place within the framework of the Roscon conference on March 31, 2023," the message reads.

There will be two nominations in total: for the best fantasy novel published in the previous year, and for the best manuscript. The jury includes famous science fiction writers such as Sergey Lukyanenko, Roman Zlotnikov, Vadim Panov, Oleg Divov, Mikhail Lantsov and others.
