Double the number of budget places at Ivanovo University in the direction of "Nuclear power plants"

Recruitment for budget places in the direction of "Nuclear power plants" will double IGEU (Ivanovo Power Engineering University named after Lenin – approx. editors) by 2024. The agreement was signed between the university and Rosenergoatom concern. This is reported by TASS with reference to the university's message.

"In accordance with the agreement, in the direction of "Nuclear power plants: design, operation and engineering" in 2023, it is planned to increase the recruitment for budget places to 90 people, and by 2024 - more than 120. This year, 66 students were enrolled in the specialty," the report says.

Ivanovo Power Engineering University is one of the country's leading universities for training specialists for the nuclear industry. Graduates work at Russian nuclear power plants, in design and research organizations.
