More than 50 schools will be built in Siberia according to the national project in 2023

In Siberia, it is planned to more than double the volume of school construction in 2023. In total, the authorities expect to build 53 educational institutions. This year, according to the national project "Education", 22 schools have been built there. This is stated in the press service of the plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Siberian Federal District (SFD).

"It is necessary to take into account the significantly increased volume of tasks: 53 facilities are planned to be built in 2023, 33 facilities in 2024," the report says.

According to Deputy Plenipotentiary Alexander Orekhov, most regions of the district were able to overcome the difficulties associated with the rise in the cost of construction, replacement of materials and equipment with domestic analogues.

To date, preparations for the construction of schools have not been completed in some regions, including the main contracts for construction and installation work have not been fully concluded, there are difficulties with design and estimate documentation, land plots for the construction of facilities have not been fully checked.
