The oldest Russian bike track has been reconstructed

The oldest cycling track in Russia has been reconstructed in Tula. We did it under the federal project "Sport is the norm of life" of the national project "Demography". This was told in the Ministry of Sports of the region.

"Today, on the basis of the oldest cycling track in Russia, a modern cycling center has been created that meets international standards for the training of athletes. Pupils of sports schools of the region, national teams of the Tula region will train here. We have equipped a special visor along the perimeter of the entire trackbed, this will increase the period of training camps for our athletes at home. And next year, the international competitions "Grand Prix of Tula" and the championship of Russia will be held on the cycling track," Dmitry Yakovlev, the Minister of Sports of the Tula region, is quoted in the message.

On the ground floor of the east stand of the renovated bike track, there are bike cabins, a bike workshop, gyms for beginners and professional athletes. On the second floor there is a hotel where athletes will live during training camps and competitions. The stands are designed for 500 seats.
