Elgaugol expects to increase coal production to 45 million tons by 2025

The company "Elgaugol" expects to produce 26 million tons of coal in 2023, and by 2025 to increase the volume of production by 1.7 times - up to 45 million tons per year. This was announced at the session of the forum "Industry and exploration of Yakutia: through the centuries," said Inna Losyuk, Managing Director of the company.

"Next year our targets correspond to the production of 26 million [tons], the shipment of 20 million tons, and by 2025 we plan to extract 45 million tons and ship 30 million tons, and within the framework of the development plan to create more than 20 thousand jobs," Losyuk said.

According to her, over the past two years, the company has multiplied "volumes, production results, such as monthly production, shipment of coal products."

Recall that Elgaugol holds a license to use the subsoil of the Elginsky field, whose reserves, according to JORC, reach 2.2 billion tons.
