During the project "Wine Guide of Russia" in 2022, 500 names of wines in the price category up to 1000 rubles were checked.
Experts came to the conclusion that almost 92% of the wines reviewed comply with the current Roskachestvo standards. This indicator is the highest for all the years of the project.
The "Wine Year of Russia" begins its work with an expert assessment of wine regions. At the next stage, experts evaluate the quality of wine in the laboratory.
Sparkling wines and champagne presented 177 items, a record number in the five years of the project.
In the best brut category , the winners were: "High bank. Riesling", "Myshako Cuvee" and "Terroir of Kuban". Among the semi - sweet sparkling wines , experts identified: "Balaclava Muscat", "ZB vine Moscato" and "Terroir Kuban". The best semi-sweet pink wine was named "ZB vine Moscato", and "Zolotaya Balka" became the winner among semi-sweet red sparkling wines. Tasters especially appreciated the exta brut "Aristov. Cuvee Alexander. Blanc de Blanc" and sweet wine "Tsimlyanskoe".
The undisputed leader in the category of sparkling wines was the brut white wine "Tarino", which costs only about 170 rubles per bottle at retail.
In addition, the project specialists evaluated the wines of the category "Russian champagne" with aging and identified two favorites: brut red "New World. Cabernet Sauvignon" and semi-sweet pink "New World".
