NTI competence centers have earned almost 20 billion in five years

23 Competence centers of NTI (National Technological Initiative – approx. editorial offices), have earned almost 20 billion rubles in five years of existence. State support amounted to more than 13 billion. The centers were created in Russia for the development of end-to-end technologies. The information was announced by Irina Borodina, Senior Project Manager of the NTI Project Support Fund.

"A little more than 13 billion rubles of grants have been spent to support the centers since 2018, but at the same time our centers have earned almost 20 billion rubles. We have attracted more than 9 billion rubles over the years as co—financing - this is money from commercial sources," Borodina said at the II Congress of Young Scientists.

NTI competence centers are divisions in universities and scientific organizations that develop end-to-end technologies: create new devices, software, infrastructure facilities, launch their own educational programs.
