Yandex Market sells products of the closed IKEA chain, which it previously bought from it
The Yandex Market marketplace is selling off the remnants of the IKEA chain that closed in Russia — previously, the online store bought more than 20 million things here. The company said in a statement that sales opened on the afternoon of December 1.
"The service will work as usual - without electronic queues or recording, however, at the start of sales, the most popular products will have a limit on the quantity in one hand. In addition, some goods will be able to be delivered only in Moscow and St. Petersburg, and later Market will start delivering almost all IKEA products to any regions," TASS reports.
The agency reminds that earlier Yandex Market bought all the inventory of Ikea warehouses in Russia — these are household items, furniture, and soft toys.
