In the next 3 years, the federal budget in Russia will be in deficit

The deputies of the State Duma adopted in the second reading the draft budget for 2023 and the planning period of 2024 and 2025.

According to RIA Novosti, next year revenues are planned at 26.13 trillion rubles, and expenses – 29.056 trillion

According to the agency, in 2024, revenue is expected to increase to 27.24 trillion rubles, in 2025 - to 27.98 trillion. Expenditures in these years are projected at 29.43 trillion and 29.24 trillion rubles, respectively.

The federal budget will be in deficit for the entire estimated period. At the same time, the state plans to cover the deficit with state loans.
