Yandex Market plans to sell competitors' products to customers

Yandex Market will store and deliver products from competitors' marketplaces. According to TASS, this will become a new logistics service for business. This will be done according to the service model: Yandex Market intends to store, process and deliver the goods of partners sold through their websites and other marketplaces.

"This will help stores save on logistics without overpaying for storing the same assortment in different warehouses, and the marketplace will further increase the efficiency of using its logistics capacities," the agency notes in its material.

Yandex says there is a high demand for logistics for goods sold on the Internet. The marketplace plans to make money on this, since in 2021 the volume of the Russian market in this segment was estimated at 41.8 billion rubles. And the growth of the market continues.

Currently, more than 25 million products are sold on the Yandex Market marketplace.
