In Russia, the number of geriatric offices has increased 5.5 times (Offices for elderly and senile patients – approx. editorial offices). This is reported in the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Health of the country.

"The number of geriatric offices has increased 5.5 times. The number of gerontological beds has also increased significantly – almost 4 times, their number now exceeds 7.4 thousand," said the First Deputy Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Viktor Fisenko.

Also, the Telegram channel notes that within the framework of the national project "Demography", vehicles are supplied to deliver elderly citizens and other low-mobility patients living in rural areas to medical organizations and social service organizations.
