12 sunken ships that pose a threat to the environment will be taken from Amur

12 sunken vessels that can harm the environment will be removed from the Amur River water area. This decision was made by the court of Nikolaevsk-on-Amur, it satisfied the requirements of the Mykolaiv-on-Amur interdistrict environmental prosecutor's office. This is reported by the press service of the Amur Basin Environmental Prosecutor's Office.

"The environmental prosecutor appealed to the court with a claim to compel the Federal Budget Institution "Administration of the Amur Basin of Inland Waterways" to lift, remove or dispose of fragments of the hulls of 12 sunken ships," the report says.

The decision of the Nikolaev-on-Amur City Court has entered into legal force.
