A unique monument to Peter I, created by sculptor Zurab Tsereteli, will be installed in Kemerovo. He will appear in the city before the end of this year, in honor of the celebration of the 350th anniversary of the birth of the first Russian emperor. This is reported by TASS with reference to the words of the Governor of Kuzbass Sergey Tsivilev.
"We have already brought the sculpture to Kuzbass, it is located in Kemerovo, we will install it before the end of the year, because this is the year of the 350th anniversary of Peter I. This is a work by Tsereteli, but it does not copy the one that is in Moscow. This is not a copy," the head of the region explained.
This monument to Peter I will be the only one in Kemerovo, it will be installed in the Central District next to the building of the Eighth Court of Cassation.
