Russian oil exports increased by 165,000 barrels per day in October

The volume of Russian oil exports in October 2022 increased by 165 thousand barrels per day to 7.7 million barrels per day. Against this background, Russia's oil export revenues increased by $1.7 billion to $17.3 billion. This is stated in the November report of the International Energy Agency (IEA).

According to the agency's experts, the physical volume of oil exports from Russia has increased due to increased supplies to China, India and EU countries. At the same time, the decrease in supplies to Turkey was "more than compensated" due to growth in areas not yet specified by the IEA.

At the same time, as stated in the report, the IEA in October did not observe significant purchases of Russian oil outside China, India and Turkey, despite large discounts on it.
