The production of fully domestic laboratory equipment began in technopolis "Moscow"

The Proton plant on the territory of the Technopolis Moscow Special economic Zone (SEZ) has established the production of laboratory equipment with sensors of its own design, which are not inferior to foreign analogues. This was stated by the head of the capital's Department of investment and industrial policy Vladislav Ovchinsky.

"Previously, foreign high-tech sensors were used in them. Now the conturographs consist entirely of Russian components that are not inferior to imported ones in terms of characteristics and do not increase the final price of the equipment. The company produces 70 units of laboratory metrological equipment of four types per year for scientific and educational institutions. Every year, orders are received from about 30 Russian enterprises," Ovchinsky said.

According to him, the new development of the enterprise is used in the construction of contour scanners — special measuring devices for monitoring the contour and roughness of surfaces.

Currently, the company is doing a lot of work on import substitution in the radio-electronic industry. Now the company receives three or four orders for conturographs per year, as foreign equipment is presented on the market. If necessary, the company is able to produce laboratory equipment in much larger volumes.
