Parallel imports in the country may exceed $ 15 billion by the end of the year

By the end of 2022, the volume of parallel imports to Russia may exceed $ 15 billion in value terms. In terms of weight, the figure is also impressive - and 2 million tons. Ruslan Davydov, First Deputy head of the Federal Customs Service, told reporters about this.

"The data for the end of October is 12.6 billion dollars of parallel imports and 1.6 million tons. A cautious forecast by the end of the year is more than $ 15 billion and more than 2 million tons, you can estimate it this way," Davydov said. Recall that Russia also began to supply alcohol by parallel import.
