This year, more than 400 cultural centers will be built and modernized in Russia

In Russia, more than four hundred houses of culture should be built or modernized by the end of 2022. In 115 of them, the work on the national project "Culture" has already been completed. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the country.

"To date, work has been completed at 115 facilities. The last of them are in the villages of Maloarkhangelsk of the Trans—Baikal Territory and Salgany of the Nizhny Novgorod region. By the end of 2022, it is planned to complete work on 317 more facilities," the report says.

The ministry said that the new houses of culture are not only being repaired, but also being conceptually updated. During modernization, libraries are being created in them, auditoriums are being renovated, halls with the possibility of film screenings, children's play areas, cafes are being arranged.

Earlier, the Ministry of Culture reported that during the implementation of the national project - since 2019, more than a thousand cultural houses have been modernized and built in Russia.
