Experts: Russians began to eat more sweets due to stress and cold

At the beginning of the autumn of this year, sales of sweets in Russia increased sharply compared to last year. According to experts, this is due to increased stress and the onset of cold weather. The portal "Secret of the company" writes about this.

According to their information, sales of chocolate bars grew the most: in September by 26% and in October by 29%. The average receipt for such purchases jumped 2.7 times in September, in money it is 278 rubles.

In second place are hanging candies. Their sales in September compared to the same month last year also increased by 26%, in October a little less — by 15%.

The third place is for chocolate – it was bought by 13% more in September.
